Saw the version on the show and got to hold it, the underneath is very very impressive.

Just hope the couplings will get some level of Continental Closeness with gangways as close as possible!!

Must see which ones suit now!!

    Well done IRM.

Like our mk5 and mk2, there is a full kinematic close coupling system designed so the gangways will touch on the straight.

  2. Welcome! Echoing previous posters and as someone who thought 'great, I have a big 33x13 space, I'll model Connolly and surrounds and RPSI sheds, and then maybe Kildare, or a cement depot and a viaduct, gotta have one of those, and and and and....

What ended up happening was 'bits' of it were built, but it never really got beyond a loop before frustration, time demands and 'where do I even begin' sink in, resulting in me likely losing the interest of my two eldest in the process.

I now have a nice little 8x4 or so, with scenery, that my youngest participates in, while I dream of the 'big' layout maybe when I'm retired :)

Unless you have a significant budget and NO OTHER demands on your time, start small is my recommendation too :)

    Hope that helps!

Just wondering - will we be able to avail of the 6-month payment plan, or will it be payment of the total amount due when they come into stock?

You can add multiples to your cart and the. the ‘split payment’ installments option will appear in the cart (over €123) and you can set up installments as you wish there.

Otherwise we just save your card details and will send you notification when they are in stock and either charge the saved card when ready to ship or you can choose another payment method then.

I do have a question on the Park Royals, as there are some at the RPSI, any possibility of a release in conjunction with the RPSI?

We have a full run of Mainline versions, as well as the ambulance versions to come in 2024 :) which will also give us the tooling to do the RPSI sets justice.

this is going to hurt my railcar fund....

The Park Royals are due next January, and the ICRs in July if that helps

Will these be available through the Accurascale website for UK based customers ?

UK customers can now buy in GBP from irishrailwaymodels.com with free shipping over £100 (Customers in NI can choose either EUR or GBP and get free postage on all purchases)

Of course, just to throw a spanner into the works IRM could follow Hornby's lead and produce almost scale 5ft 3ins gauge stock in 3mm scale running on 16.5 track 🫢

Funnily enough Paul is our office is pushing exactly for that lol.

  7. Including this weekends, we have 6 brand new toolings to announce between now and the October show. A little something for everyone across a wide range of eras. IRM is where we started and our focus is on growing to a steady flow of new toolings and reruns to meet market demand and hopefully continue growing the irish market in the UK and abroad too.

Ultimately your support on the little things pays for the bigger things too and we never forget or take that support for granted.

Thank you. Will look forward to that. Now a newly tooled GM 141 with stay-alive, a speaker, decoder hatch, proper light arrangements, see through grills and working windscreen wipers and I'll fall of my perch!!!! 🤣 Or, Park Royals with lighting, flush corridor connectors and opening doors. Or the holy grail!

Paddy’s new 141’s are expected shortly. The irish market can barely support the two of us let alone duplication :)

Apologies but a little disappointed - a bus. No choo-choos? :( Still holding out hope for a park royal or laminate to IRM's stratospheric standards.

As Fran said, it's a little appetiser today, and the main course, new tooled something on Sunday at Wexford :) 😛 Yee of little patience ;)

Checked this out on Safari and got 'NaN' instead of numbers, moved to Chrome and it worked fine......

Odd i’ve tested on safari (mac and mobile) and works fine. What version / platform are you on? Perhaps try a deep refresh to clean out any cached bits of the website?

Awwww. The wobbling makes it all the more fun!

As an aside, does the AS website upgrade mean shipping to Las Canarias is now available for AS Exclusives, or is that still special charter airdrop only?

It should be but will check this morning
