  1. Hey George

The €9.95 is vat exclusive and we do provide free EU post when you spend over €100 so you should have saved the €5.95 and then just effectively paid the vat on entry (making it all the same as if you were in the UK). Unfortunately we just can’t subsidize the postage on smaller spends and even €5.95 is well below cost.

Received an email from IRM today saying that "pre-orders have been massive and some of the variants are approaching 50% sold already!"

No excuses and no sitting on the fence, get your plastic or your cheque book out and get splurging!

Also, @Warbonnet, you mis-spelled "beet" in the thread title.

    😂😂😂😂😂

Just to remind it’s NO money down. So placing an order is 100% free, nothing to pay until in stock and cancel any time 👍👍

No international postage available since the Royal Mail Cyber Attack, so I'm looking for alternatives.

There are so many variants of the Next18 LokPilot that I'm confused. Looks like 59118 and 59128 are the two main ones but I can't see on the AS site which it is.

Although, I must say that Accurascale branching out and selling tampons and advertising personal trainers is a great cross-merchandising exercise, very impressed:

accurascale ships direct from Bimingham with DHL. it’s never used RM international and has only just added it as an option for local delivery.

Dhl is available there as always to the Canaries. Hope that helps.

I chose Cookham Manor because I think that's the eighties preserved livery, so ties in with the BR blue that I remember.

A tech question for @BosKonay's boys:

Will an A Class LokPilot damage Cookham Manor or will she run well on one with no damage? I'd like to be able to try her on DCC and that's the only option for the foreseeable future.

    Original IRM Steam Speculation thread:

The Manor needs a next18 lokpilot as a 21 pin wouldn’t fit unfortunately

Doubt there is enough demand for an Irish Steam loco to make a production run of sufficient size to be economic and profitable.  Perhaps folks buy a current DCC ready bachmann in one of the BR liveries and respray to GSWR/CIE grey. Its an easy paint job, there is no lining needed just logo transfers.

You never know :) At least one of the new tools underway at irm towers is steamy.

Almost sure that @BosKonay said no when I asked about this, as the bogies and lighting are integrated, but I'm open to correction.

They are integrated with the pickup and lighting system however we are looking at ways we can package them up once al the runs have landed as we did for the 42’ flats / tara’s. We also have a tail lamp solution on the way as a small accessory add on.
