Received an email from Hattons this morning about these cracking looking wagons, it said the pre order deadline was this Friday, is this just Hattons version of things or have I missed something. Thanks
the window for traders to place their orders is this week. it doesn’t actually impact customers orders.

this years first major IRM announcement is in the next month.
-
we won’t be making more A’s this year or next year but the year after that is quite likely.
-
there is no bag.
hattons are making a speculative leap presumably to secure some preorder interest. if murphy models actually confirm something concrete you guys will be the first to know right here and the usual channels.

Given that this batch of A's has sold very well, dare I wonder if a second batch might happen at some point in the future but with different numbers and colour schemes?

Indubitably

The ones that go up front are only semi conductors
I hope that Accurascale will have some sound coders available so that you can upgrade
Like Deltic we’ll be offering the sound chip standalone.

Looks very smart. Do they have a website ?

Bear in mind the magnetic dellner has magnets and the fixed bar is just that. A fixed plastic bar designed for permanent coupling.

Can these be worked with track magnets for uncoupling?
They are permanent neodymium magnets so ‘not sure’ is the answer.

Apparently cancelled due to editorial reasons.

I suspect that there may be folk out there who would buy the three or four coach SO packs, possibly to amplify say a DBSO pack into one train, and an EGV pack into another, that kind of thing.
Not complaining, and I've just sourced some Lima NIR standard coaches in case IRM don't go for it, it's just a suggestion.
We’ll definitely do more coaches. That’s a guarantee.

Indeed if you have been able to buy all three packs any later comers to the show might find a gap for a while and I am sure having a second bite with a variation of running numbers in a rerun will excite a few . Especially those wanting to travel back in time the Hunslet era. - You know you want too!

You can build 9 vehicle trains right now from the triple packs.

There generally seems to be an under estimation with new models that sell out on pre order, so maybe a production run should be
increased to give more people a chance to buy and for those new modellers coming along.
The trouble with increasing runs is you’d never see them

The beauty of irm having accurascale is that projects that would not be viable can be. We made plough vans after all.

RMWeb had to change server host due to poor performance and as a result of more of the same performance most of the photos/documents uploaded onto RMWeb before that time have been lost - decades worth!!!

Essentially warners underinvested in the platform for quite a while and were not paying for backups. There was data loss and no backups. So now no Images.
since then the forum runs on the servers of the company who make the forum software (same software we run on here ) -

Will any of the UK stock be available on the IRM website?
First shipment t should be across to dublin in about three days.
-
We’ll have photos of production versions in the coming weeks

The date moved to q1 a little while back but might it have percolated. They are in assembly and should be with us quite soon in the new year.

Like I said earlier, Never say never. Rumors of our lack of steam are quite unfounded and in time we will make everything we can that we’d like ourselves too
Since launch we’ve driven a lot of growth in Irish outline, even converting UK outline accurascale customers to the green side.
We also have the benefit of a strong and growing UK outline business which can subsidize Irish models that might not be very attractive otherwise. Both models that cross borders and Irish models that can be funded through Uk activities.
For the Irish modeller it’s a great opportunity. -
I agree all should be encouraged but it’s also not sensible to assume that a RTR manufacturer won’t get to a prototype that runs with the RPSI in time. I can promise several things next year, including steam, but the j15 will not be coming from IRM in the next 24 months.
Hope that clarifies what I mean by ‘never say never’. -
