Of course you could model the GNR of the late 1920s,locos with no nameplates on any locos and a nice plain black livery. Glover really was the "ornate" type wasn't he!

CIE no.402 has been painted, it is now awaiting finishing touches and a chassis of some poor unsuspecting King Arthur. this is the only picture I could get the right way up,which is very annoying.

That looks amazing:) what sort of locos have you got there. I see woolies, but I saw an 0-6-0 and maybe even a 4-4-0. I will follow this layout with interest..

Started this a week ago, from a Hornby King Arthur...no.402. Might put her in the CIE green. The chassis were very poor, so I will give her a more modern one.
