irishtrains2730 Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 that was brilliant to see.not being in cork in them days gives me an idea of how and where they ran. Quote
jhb171achill Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 The Albert Quay terminus was but one of several little-known black'n'tan era survivors, with sometimes obscure goods workings. Crossmolina siding, Coolnamona, North City Mills, Castlemungret, Silvermines, and so on.... ten points for whoever gets a complete list! Quote
RedRich Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Was the chap behind the camera a CIE employee. Really excellent and evocative footage of bygone days. Rich, Quote
