Georgeconna Posted January 17 Posted January 17 This arrived today, looks very smart and will look sweet next toothed Bulleid diesel in the same livery. Down side is there seems to be a fault with the bogies nitvreally true which results in some of the wheels not sitting on the track. Some chaps have had issues with running, as i dont haveva layout wevwill see at some stage if thevwill cause me isdues, if it does Hopefully an Easy fix Doubt I will reorder stuff again as like previous models these errors seems to get fixed on a 2nd release. 4 Quote
Darius43 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 They are rather nice models The buffer beams on the BR blue version do need to be painted blue, however. Cheers Darius 3 Quote
Georgeconna Posted January 18 Author Posted January 18 (edited) They looks better with the red gone for sure. Any probs with your bogies? Thank fully I did not require a complete set of Era's. Edited January 18 by Georgeconna Quote
leslie10646 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Oh dear, another interesting "modern image" Bulleid for the display cabinet, where it would go nicely beside the Kernow 1CoCo1 Bulleid diesel - very nice in BLACK - which means this one would have to be black too - a pity as the SR Green Sunshine livery looks nice! Thanks for sharing this George and Darius. 1 Quote

amdaley Posted January 18 Posted January 18 I got an SR Green one last week from Rails. Ran it in on a rolling road, stuck a Rails connect decoder in it & put it on the layout. It runs fine with no bogie problems that I have noticed. Nice loco at a reasonable price. 2 Quote

Excellent. the Bogie twist seems to be an easy fix from what I have seen on the Net. 1 Quote
amdaley Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Question for anyone running one of these on DCC ? I can switch on the headlights but I can't switch on the cab lights from my NCE Power Cab. Anyone have this problem ? I can switch the cab lights on & off with the wand but not from the handset ? Quote
amdaley Posted January 22 Posted January 22 To answer my own question. The correct Rails connect decoder is RoS-218.4.2. Quote
Jack Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Bought mine from Kernow this week. Suits my 3rd rail south London effort. The two innermost wheelsets on one bogie are not in contact with the rails. Hopefully an easy fix. Jack 5 Quote
Georgeconna Posted February 19 Author Posted February 19 The Thread on RMWEB about the loco has the Fixes. No comment by the Manufacturers on the issue at all. Quote
