leslie10646 Posted November 28 Posted November 28 Folks Loads of you guys have bought my DAPOL repaints and I'm amazed at the crazy prices. Well, Paddy M isn't the only one who is prepared to "scotch" it. My recent CIE vans all but sold out pretty quickly which has encouraged me not to retire just yet, even though attendance at exhibitions wreck me! So, shall I do a rerun of this? It's legit, as photographed by John Langford in West Cork in 1960s. Not sure about the load, Dapol may not do it any longer, but even empty .... A different number, so that you guys with the original get a "new" wagon It serves as a GNR(I) wagon) (just paint out the tiny "CIE" or left as it is, it's genuine CIE. Now the caveat! It's a UK wagon, so more narrow than a "proper" Irish wagon - you won't get a BR container inside one without some surgery to the container, but it'll take all sorts of loads on sale out there. If I get a pre-order of thirty I'll risk it. Price not more than £17, or €20 (assuming about €1.20 to pound). Available at Bangor Exhibition. PM me if interested - no money up front - just an honest "expression of interest" Thanks Leslie 11 Quote

Horsetan Posted November 28 Posted November 28 What were the dimensions of the real thing? It might be worth widening the model. Quote
