Metrovik Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Any ideas of somewhat simple oo gauge RTR stock that makes a reasonable conversion to AEC railcars? Quote
0 Mol_PMB Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Not perfect by any means, but the Bachmann 'Cravens' DMU has the right sort of 'face'. 1 Quote
0 Mol_PMB Posted January 7 Posted January 7 There are styling differences, and the Cravens is shorter, but the main features and layout are pretty similar. Change a few details and repaint it, and I reckon you would get away with it! 2 Quote

0 LNERW1 Posted Friday at 06:56 Posted Friday at 06:56 (edited) EDIT: as clarified by Darius below, all Rue d'Etropal products were available on the now-defunct Shapeways Marketplace, and they do not seem to have been made available anywhere else yet, meaning they are not accessible at the moment. Rue D’Etropal (3d printed models) do Clayton rail cars, also suitable for your setting. There’s also a couple MGWR coaches that, I have to say, have me tempted. http://www.rue-d-etropal.com/3D-printing/3d_printed_Irish-5ft-3in-gauge-trains1.htm Hope this is of help. The links for purchasing these 3D prints are to Shapeways, which at this time is a defunct entity. Cheers Darius Quote
