Judicial review into planned MetroLink rail line is withdrawn

The application submitted by residents of Dartmouth Square was withdrawn following mediation. The Minister for Transport has called it, 'an early Christmas present for us all.'

A little more detail emerging this morning than what was in the original RTE article above. It appears that residents who took a legal challenge to the multibillion MetroLink rail project are set to accept an offer from Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) to buy their homes on Dartmouth Square.
