WANTED 0 gauge mk 1 coach

Before I try buying a coach used off fleabay or even worse a new one would anyone have one surplus to requirements  they be willing to sell.?

I don't think I have any (I used to have some Lima ones but I think I chucked them), but I would note that there are several RTR options:

• Lima - old, 1:45 scale, but cheap
• Heljan - much newer but entirely the wrong shape. Likely to be moderately cheap but not convincing
• Darstaed - reasonable, probably more expensive than Heljan
• Dapol / Lionheart - very good, but more expensive and now sought after

In most cases you get what you pay for, but don't be tempted to pay a lot for a Lima or Heljan one.

Cheers for that .thought I'd try here  first.with the postage and vat an post charges and the 3 quid bump ebay is very pricey

@DSERetc made wonderful use of O Gauge Lima coaches on Castletown, HERE.

Lima O Gauge coaches usually go for peanuts on eBay.

Heljan’s Mk2’s are out of this world, but there are only a handful left.

Its only a repaint for a micro layout I'm planning.be just sat in a siding.think I'll try the lima route first.

Q
