Replacement handrails for 141/181

Anyone know if its possible to get replacement handrails for the Murphy Models 141/181 locos ? I have one with a broken handrail and just wondering if its possible to get a spare or replacement ?

@BosKonay - just to confirm I didnt break the one I bought from you . It's the first 181 I bought 2nd hand before I knew what I was looking at and it annoys me now.

Any chance of SSM doing some brass handrail stanchions ala smokey valley in the US Westy? I have 9 141s and an expected half dozen 071s and god knows how many murphys 121s that need upgrading...

They were available from marks models at the Blackrock show in October maybe check from them or you could ask murphy models directly

Marks Models is the official spares supplier for Murphy Models. I ordered several sets and collected them at the Blackrock show but I don't think they were for sale there I think you had to pre order them with Mark.

I'll have a gander online. I don't think I'm the only one who would like them either. Plan to carry out such surgery to my yank stuff too in due course. I just wish Smokey Valley checked their emails once in a while!

I ordered a replacement spindle for a Lima Class 20 in 1988, and again in 1997 - still waiting....... I'd rather wait for Weshty ta.
