Reasons for move from Yuku?

I'd asked this on the yuku site but there's no one there to answer!

Why the relocation? Or is the question likely to rehash a war?

Simplest to say it had run its course.

 

As a third party system we were at the vagaries of yuku and had no ownership of the data.

 

This site is self hosted so we remain in full control of all we survey.

 

This also ensures the sites longevity and preserves the posts ( a previous yuku site has disappeared as has an even earlier man groups system)

 

In short, this is an upgrade

It is a heck of a lot easier to load up photos on this site as well....

I have trouble seeing pics posted by others, any reason why???

 

They just show up as default image icons.
