DiveController
Can anyone offer any guidance on whether there are any prototypical model OO bridges out there pre-asembled? In my mind these bridges look something like this one at Farranfore which is probably what I'd like to reproduce Thanks, http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/7/78/Farranfore_train_station.jpg/1024px-Farranfore_train_station.jpg

0 jhb171achill
That one's fairly standard for ex GSWR lines. By panelling it in, a half-reasonable MGWR area lookalike can be achieved. If modelling former DSER or GNR areas, it wouldn't really suit.

0 jhb171achill
It would be fine for CBSCR design too. It raises an interesting issue; the necessity (if one wants accuracy) to research what type of signal cabin, footbridge, station architecture and so on, that would be appropriate for a layout set in a particular part of the country. 0 Weshty
Try Alan Gibson as well, (4MM91) the Midland Railway footbridge stg£ 52 An etched brass kit that makes up into a common platform mounted footbridge design of the Midland Railway although it does also contain within the frets, alternative sides that will ‘convert’ it to examples used by the Glasgow & South Western Railway.
