Marks Models Dun Laoghaire

Hi all, don't know if this has been covered before, but Marks Model shop in Dun Laoghaire closed about 2 wks ago, forgot to mention it myself since I heard about it at the Raheny show.

Hawkins Street is open from 1 to 5 pm on Sundays now.

Does this mean bad news for the shop in Cork? I hope not, they're brilliant to deal with

Hi all, don't know if this has been covered before, but Marks Model shop in Dun Laoghaire closed about 2 wks ago, forgot to mention it myself since I heard about it at the Raheny show.

 

I usually visit the warehouse shop in Rathcoole as its near my work and easy parking. Pity about the DL unit. Sadly Dun Laoghaire as a retail high street seems to have been particularly badly battered by the recession and the existence of Dundrum town centre. Bray equally so.

Never thought Dun Laoghaire's two shopping centre's could work financially, independently !

I would'nt thinks so. Marks Models in Dun Laoghaire is the latest in a long line of shops based in the same shopping centre that have closed over the last few years. From what I hear the rates on the units was very high.
