gm171 kk Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Can anybody point me in the direction of a manufacturer that produces the following cabs in 1/76 scale in either RTR or kit form. A Foden s106 An ERF E10 A Scania 143M And a Mercedes 1827 Regards, Seán Quote
DartStation Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 Sean You should find most of them in kit form from http://www.roadtransportimages.com The owner is taking some time out at present but is due back in circulation in March/April time I think. The detail of the cabs is incredible - I purchased some from him at Warley. Thanks Paul. Quote
gm171 kk Posted January 27, 2015 Author Posted January 27, 2015 Thanks Paul. I can get the ERF cab from him alright and I'll just use the Oxford Scania 143. No model of the Foden ever existed however (yet). Quote
Warbonnet Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 Amazing that no 4mm Fodens of that era kicking about considering their popularity in the UK. Always had a soft spot for them myself. Now if someone would do a Hino, an essential vehicle for an Irish layout late 70s onwards! Quote
gm171 kk Posted January 28, 2015 Author Posted January 28, 2015 I was always interested in circus transport because of the variety of rarely seen and often heavily modified transport they had, not to mention trucks from other countries like the big American bull nosed ones that some of the Courtney shows had. I'm adding a little scene to the railway layout of one circus that ran in 2005/6 that was put together by one of the main circus families using old tents and lorries previously retired. I'm pretty sure I saw a Hino tipper somewhere on this site Warbonnet but it may have been 1/87 scale. Quote
WRENNEIRE Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Picked up some 00 gauge trucks at Bray recently Nice bit of detail on this one Quote
WRENNEIRE Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 This baby had wood effect graining on her paintwork, stunning. Quote
aclass007 Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Was there a rally on in Sligo last weekend? I'd say the TK might have been a tractor unit that someone built a body onto... Quote
Weshty Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Wow, 70's flashback or what. Real character in those babies. Quote
