I was looking to see if any of you have done diorama's and to see who would share there images and experiences in doing them.

 

Please feel free to post images for me to admire :) and to learn from.

What lights are you using on the back wall of the first one?

Lovely work Irish trains

can really feel the rural farmyard setting there.

 

 

wow kinvara they are fantabulous.

Good to get pics with the outdoor sky. really helps.

Love seeing work in progress pictures.

 

And the suitcase is an actual? z gauge runner?

 

Wont be able to make the Bray show this time round. :( last time i went i loved it.

Absolutely stunning Walter! You should share a few 'master classes' with how-to's and what 'bits' you have used to such great effect - might bump up sales! :)

 

The mud on the farm one - is that clay? Looks stunningly effective!

Yes i agree with a few how tos or tid bits on how to do or improve on things :)

There a few ways of doing it.scruntched up newspaper with chicken wire over then papier mache.polystyrene cut to shape with polyfiller over.mdf cut and then layed on top of each other but staggered back to build up a hillside then as above.

i really love your stuff. great quality and look stunning.
