0 minister_for_hardship
A loading bank crane? Looking thru the GSR appendix to the WTT, no 4 1/2T crane is listed anywhere. Unless you know where it came from, can't tell if Irish or not, these things were usually supplied by contractors, not built by the railways themselves. 0 Jawfin
4.5t would be very small for a proper crane... Maybe GNR 31, the Hawthorn Leslie Crane Tank from Dundalk?
0 jhb171achill
Is it meant to be Irish? I don't recognise it as anything Irish....
0 minister_for_hardship
4.5t would be very small for a proper crane... Maybe GNR 31, the Hawthorn Leslie Crane Tank from Dundalk? The ones listed in the GSR book vary from 10-15 cwt up to 7 or 10 tons capacity. Most of the smaller ones were simple hand operated things with a timber boom usually.
