Lads,

 

Just a heads up on this one, We are planning to hold this in the Metropole Hotel, McCurtain Street again on the 3rd of April 2016

 

Primarily this is focused as a buy and Sell event with also quite a few exhibits on show as well. Check Previous thread and Cork Model Fair on Facebook for full details.

 

If you are interested in selling or displaying anything Model Related we would be delighted to hear from you.

Wayne Elmes is now taking bookings for anyone looking to sell or Display at this years Cork Model show in the Metropole Hotel.

 

If you are interested tables are €15 a go for a 6 foot table. Exhibitors are free

The tables are nearly all sold out but there are a few left if you interested in getting rid of surplus stuff tis a good time to do it!!

RB Productions will have a stand at the Cork Model Fair. We can offer a 10% discount on pre-orders for collection at the Fair. Customers can pay for the pre-orders at the show. Had a splendid day at the show, great to meet all the guys again, loads of stuff n loads of chat, some of the MRSI guys turned up and they even crashed me DART- those dublin bousies!

 

Never got to take photos but maybe someone else did

yep, thanks for supporting it lads. I was an enjoyable day. If only I brought the Apt in, What a sight that would of been on your track demo layout!! Ah well.

 

That would have been a sight, I have packed up early and legged it with your APT! =))

 

I'm raging that I didn't buy one, I think they might do another run given the demand.

I did not take any as I have hit the 10 year mark with Pc Kaput, Laptop Kaput, Camera Kaput.....have not got the will to replace them

We will need to review next years one as the costs are too great and the show this year did not cover the outgoing expenses despite a large number of visitors again. With an relative Explosion of shows now in Cork with one in Clonakilty June, Fort Camden in August and a Diecast one in the Airport hotel and other around the county have kind of diluted traders and exhibitors.

 

We will have to sit down and see what direction to take.

I picked up a nice class 73 for my class 80 Build. €30's only, Great nick, When I opened it there was a decoder inside. Result. Pick up some dapol Tankers for Conversion also and a few tools.
