Ray1964
Hi Folks, I'm looking for a Murphy Models coach MM5609 (EGV in IE with orange roof)in order to complete a set. I had a chance to buy one two weeks ago for €73 but made a mess of my bidding on eBay and ran out of time. When I noticed the mess the bid had closed two minutes earlier. To say I'm gutted is an understatement. Gobshit comes to mind!!! I would really appreciate it if someone had one that they would be willing to sell. Regards, Ray. Noel
MK11 orange roof gen van in Super Train livery in Marks Model's Hawkins St today at lunch time for €56 . I recently picked one of those up from Marks and plan to spray the two white stripes onto it (IE/IR tippex livery). Costs less compared to sometimes silly eBay prices. The previous IE/IR orange roofed EGV that was on eBay went for over €250, so €73 wasn't bad value but €56 is better still.
Ray1964
A big thank you to Tony (Tarabuses) for selling me one. He had two and was very generous to let me have one of them. He's a gentleman. Thanks again Tony. Regards, Ray.

jhb171achill
I repainted some BR Mk 3's about 1990. To add the "tippex" lines, I just used a commercially available "letraset" lining of the right scale width, that you'd get in any stationery shop and varnished over it.
