2600 push pull sets

Did the  2600 push pull (ex railcar) sets run with a steam heat van?

Hi Dave. The steam heating boiler was located in the guards compartment in coach located next to 201 C Class locomotive. Power for train was supplied by generator located in compartment in rear of driving trailer coach.

Thanks, did the 121s or 141/181s ever run with them?

A 121 operated the Bray - Greystones shuttle after the Cs were withdrawn and before the NIR 80 class was drafted in to operate it.

Yes, re-engined Cs & 121s in "supertrain" livery. No genny vans; the gennies were in one of the ex-AEC cars.
