Dave Dawes Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 Did the 2600 push pull (ex railcar) sets run with a steam heat van?
Fatcontroller Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 Hi Dave. The steam heating boiler was located in the guards compartment in coach located next to 201 C Class locomotive. Power for train was supplied by generator located in compartment in rear of driving trailer coach. FC. 3

Railer Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 I have a picture of a 121 running with a set on the DSER.

jhb171achill Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 Yes, re-engined Cs & 121s in "supertrain" livery. No genny vans; the gennies were in one of the ex-AEC cars. 1
Dave Dawes Posted January 3, 2020 Author Posted January 3, 2020 Thanks everyone, just what I needed to know
