Thanks Noel,
the shaft has no gland neeed Noel, its an apparently a Sealed Shaft but this will be packed with Silicon RC Grease to stop any leaks as the shaft is below waterline. That worked on the ol fellas puffer that leaked through the shaft, Squeezed some Grease into it and sorted! No leak.

Hi Lads,
Thanks for the Comments, Been Beavering away here and have managed to get a few small items done over the past while but the most tedious one has been done and that is the Armoured Deck Plating and punching the Rivets but I have that done Saturday all day and I have now pre shaded with white and Black and then laid the green on the top. I am quite pleased with this as a Flat green Deck would of looked a bit toy like. Took it out in he ambient light to see though what it looked like. Weathering also has been started on the Box, Front Gun and ammo Boxes by the Main cabin.
Sunday took the the Knockmealdown mountains for a 13K hike to calm me nerves after slicing the top of my Left hand thumb off with the Scalpel! Parents were not available or supervision for Help at the time

We are evaluating the production models now, while furiously working to secure container capacity to get the goods here. We will confirm the shipping date in the next few days, as the shipment requires a full 40' container, and getting them at the moment is 'fun'
LOL, Had 4 FCLs in the USA today, All turned around to go by Air to Ireland now. Ouch! Hope you don't get hit too bad here.

We'll all descend like vultures on Bray if we're still around. I suppose that auction should remind us that we should leave a note for our loved ones with the real value of all this stuff, just in case we are hit by a bus in the morning! If it ended up in an unsuitable offline auction it might fetch far far less than it's worth. I'm sure I'm not the only one that downplays the cost when a parcel comes through the door lol.
I have a spread sheet done up, When you tally it up the Figures become a tad Scary.... I normally Leave the Receipt in the box too if I do pop me clogs the Daughter has a keen eye on the stuff I have and what prices have been Realised!

I bid on some of the UK Stuff, nuts end bid price TBH. Could get them at a show for about a 10 each if you're lucky, especially the wagons.
€350 for the Princess too, not a bad price given you dont really now the condition of these yokes if they have been ran or not.
right back to planes TV coverage of Duxford flying days.
Seems the Chap selling them was a bit of a recluse. Artist but never sold anything, His house sold for 2.5 million some time ago.

"I had hoped to hear an announcement by now on spares for them"
That's the worry I have with the Irish Locos, Not really much of a Back up, Same for the other smaller runs like rails, Hattons etc and I have a good few now. When the model goes tits up where are you gonna get the spare to keep it running! lots of Shed Queens I reckon.

Don't forget to add postage and customs duty.
What duty?
VAT ya mean and that will get taken off the price in the UK, get it to come in with Royal Mail and a good chance you will get a nice cheap 121 if it sneaks past the Vat man
those Dodgy ones and a bit much really, 10'r less then a new one.

Adding 120 trucks per week to the road to Ballina is just what you would expect from a Green Transport Minister in Dublin!

I saw that coming and stocked up with the ESSENTIAL essentials early last year. I did have a minor hiccup when planning the afforestation at Drowes River Bridge in that I mainly use heather as the base for the trees and my last forage oop into the hills was over 15 years ago and I have now used up the stock pile. In the meantime the local farmers have burned off the heather and replaced it with grass so this time I had to hike a further couple of miles before I came across a patch.
"local farmers have burned off the heather and replaced it with grass" = Greedy Bastards.
This Practice has to stop.

I should follow my own advise sometimes!! there are seriously fab looking.
I used Shawplan on some Mk.111 to replace Lima Glazing, Even with a few coats of paint the glazing would not go in the fit was so tight!
