Are the Cylinders on top of the boiler on that loco. Traction engine style? Looks like a good start!

I have the Hornby 08, Happy with that but needs Stay Alive installed at some stage. Sound is a bit naf and no lights so could be an order for my 1sty AS loco! Looks great and the DCC sound is fair too. Is there any payment plan set up yet to spread the costs? Tell me where was this one based please? Nothing on the serial and I have tried a few Databases.

The postie Brought a nice train pack from a shop located in Graz Austria called KUK Modelbahn - Home and after an enquiry the chap advised he had the train pack I wanted but I could only pay by bank transfer. Oh!!! Some research on the net about the owner made it look legit and some money was transferred and fingers and toes crossed the pack arrived today. phew. It Consists of a DCC sound steam loco RH399, coach, Bogie Van and 2 roller wagons and 2 standard gauge trucks as loads. Only downside is no lights on the loco but I might look into that at some stage. I also got delivery of a 4 pack of Roco 4 wheel Passenger coaches which were on offer from €184.95 to €99.99 from Modelbahnshoplippe. I think I only need a couple log wagons to max out the stock I need to make it interesting and will call it a day. In the pack also were to rollerwagons and here they are on test with the diesel. Here is a video or the real things inaction. HnVideoEditor_2025_11_03_200608908.mp4 HnVideoEditor_2025_11_03_201413450.mp4 -

I'll be lucky to be alive if I buy anymore model railway stuff. I am maxed out with Irish outline at this stage I reckon but hell yeah they pop with the Hunny. I will look forward to seeing these running at some show in the future. Totally forgot I ordered a Rapido Sound 01, that's coming tomorrow. fingers crossed she is out! Right up your street!!

Scenery getting added slowly. Using wrinkle rocks By Noch basically a sheet of paper that u scrunch up. Its says these are UV resistant and they are a tad pricy for what they are. Look good though. -

off the train a Houston, Tram to the Centre , Bus or Dart from there depending which is easiest, quickest. still prefer the motor. Less hassle. -

Hi Folks, question for the locals, Possibly going by train to the show (could regret that). Is it better to bus it out to the college or Dart and bus from Dublin city centre? MTIA G -

Just been reading the thread. Delighted you are now able to run some of you models at home. Track looks to be laid very well as those 4-4-0's will show up any lumps and bumps!! Well done.
