Hi Folks, Just to advise you folks of a monthly payment issue. I ordered one of these Locos on 9 Month installments, If I think correctly (like the C Class ordered I placed) you pay for the 1st installment there and then and it gets take out each month through Visa. I Left it at and was very surprised to find a email requesting full payment n August. Checked it with AS in August and was told to ignore the invoice, nothing said about payment issue and that zero payments had been made. Que this week another Email for full payment has come in. The reason is "It looks like the pre-order tool we use wasn't synced with your order" so nothing has been paid This is quite bizarre as this flew under the radar for 9 months with AS, No email to say payment had failed or sorry due to tech the 1st couple of payments failed and a solution offered. TBH I don't really check the Visa that comes in, I used to check partially regularly as that gave a nice view of where you were with payments and forgot about it thinking all was in hand. So a world of warning to you good people , be alert for issues like this with the monthly payments. Check these are going through as now I have to trump up the bones of 400 notes asap for which I had not budgeted for...not too impressed.

Thanks Uli for taking the time to send those links! Was looking for a small branch line Terminus station so will have a trawl through those for sure. Plan to have a small stud of DR locos, Might look at including a HOe line but the 99 are too pricey really but we will see!

Some lovely scenes there Uli. those 99 locos are bloody lovely, except for the asking price! That station building is that Laser cut? Is there a Website for same, Looking for a branch line Prussian one myself but the plastic kits options are not that great. Any chance of a few Videos of the action?

Thank god it was not a Bulleid engine. I was only thinking I would love an O gauge one. Pity someone does bang out a few more tank engines, A P Class or an 02 would be lovely to go with the Dapol Terrier and would not break the bank either. I expect most of these will be stuffed and mounted!

Stíl tipping away on the layout and located some of the out of production Digikeys light bars in France so decided to continue with installing some more lights These coaches were designed to have the current from the track go though some metal weights at each end using Roco designed pick ups which would mean a pretty simple process of installing the light bar by just popping on the pick up plate, opening the roof and screwing in the contacts for the lighting strip into each of the top of the metal weight and bobs your uncle but could not locate any of these as they seem not to be made any more... Nice idea to made some etches and light bars as a pack to sell

Personally there is too much reading, May as well get a book and read in PNQ, the ride is mediocre too. The Nomadic is best viewed from outside for nothing. The WWI Warship, HMS Caroline down the quay is probably a more interesting and less crowed visit. I though the Cultra display was much better.

Just wondering did anyone get a payment demand for your 800 order despite selecting monthly installments? Edit seemed the Monthly payment thing was not synced to my account. Phew, nothing worse than being on hols and getting a 400 notes demand.

Jeepers The old stomping ground, Use to get off the Tube in Northfields but would only get as far as the Spinning wheel for few bevs and then go back up to the station for last tube to Hounslow and never knew there was a model shop a few doors down!! the Pub now a shop Sadly, Still have some great memories. Used to go to West Drayton and the Aviation Hobby shop to get my stuff, that has gone too. Was not into the trains so much then. The Change of Demographics is stark in London. If you are in North east Cork area you are welcome to come and try the Dynamis and Z21 if you fancy.

If you are buying a system I would just go for a Z21 White. This system is pretty easy to use. controlled by Hand held unit or you can go using phone/tablet and has up to 30 functions to select. With locos now pushing over the 22+ now you might find some of the lessor systems wont cover all the functions. Ala the New Hunslet is at 22 functions. I have tried Hornby Select, Bachman Dynamis, NCE powercab and finally the Z21 and well happy with the 21. Noels gaugemaster infinity DCC controller has 68 functions! Best of luck with the move.
