Not worth it IMHO.
Where can you get it for lower price then?. If you need one or want one thats your best option right now.

The 2 Supers arrived at work yesterday from Rails. all bits intact, Set complete now. Delighted and a nicely timed bonus from work squared the Visa away, Fresh start for 2021.
Superb Model in all fairness. Fair play to Murphy models for the Royal Flush of American Diesels.

Ah the MIR 141 kit, The first thing to get me into the now black hole of Irish Modelling. I made a nice ol job of that kit but in the end one of the cats knocked it off the shelf it was on and it damaged it, In a rage I slammed the rest of it into the floor. Only the roof exhaust panel still survives.

That's bad news. I honestly thought these things would be long since delivered but what with Covid and now Brexit I'm wondering what the hell is going to happen.
I see smaller Manchester based sellers on eBay have them. Rails have them. Hattons don't seem to have them. I hope they at least use some common sense and hold off on charging them to our credit cards until the 1st unless they can guarantee that they can get them shipped before the end of the year.
I will be mightily annoyed if they charge my credit card on the 31st charging me UK VAT and then exporting them to me in Germany for German customs to stop them and slap another €100 VAT on them (and that would be in the Inc VAT + shipping price).
If they have been let down on the supply side there's nothing they can do except use common sense and hold off on billing us in the EU until January and deduct the UK VAT at that time.
I've tried asking them to confirm that they will do this but they seem unwilling to do so.
Strange for sure, all mine from Rails have arrived and there is one more package only left yesterday so I will get that next week all going well into the loco PO.
Now need to get into Marks for 2 sound chips so I can have a play xmas day.

I got my First Rails order yesterday,
5 in fact 3 had damage to handrails, 1 set snapped off completely. BNT and IR's
My Double order of the IE's Came in and mostly ok except the bonnet etch had come off one loco but was easily and carefully put in place.
Just the supers left now to come to the PO. looking forward to seeing those.

The Heritage Officers main role appears to have been protecting IEs interests in connection with maintenance, alterations to or demolition of Protected or Listed buildings and structures.
A lot of his work was tied up covering off the "Heritage" aspects of major rail projects during the late 90s early 20s.
Such as the Kildare Route Project, Heuston Station re-modelling and improvements to stations like Kilkenny, Mullingar and Dromod where existing heritage buildings were retained in the new station design rather than being demolished and replaced with more utilitarian buildings.
Heritage Example of Kilkenny, This is how Heritage gets treated here, Why the old roof platform could not be used in the development of the Station is beyond me. Now people have no cover on the platform
previous
and After
new station with melted roof.

Yes I read those with Amusement yesterday especially the guy buying from the big H direct and then giving out about the postage cost is more than Hattons but he still buys from them direct anyhow..... I must add that was on the Twitter or book of faces Release of Same.

I note the Artist did not go through the torture of the Lozenge Camo Pattern , Did that on a RC D.VII some years back only for it to collide mid air with a Pup. I blame me dad!

124 and 134 were delivered today. Excellently packaged and the chap that delivered the package knocked and waited until the door was opened.
They will be wrapped for the 25th. I got them from Mark's and there was a thank you note with a discount code for a purchase in the new year.
I paid for mine in June and didn't mind them being held back until the paint issue was sorted.
Rich,
That nice a discount, I got Zilch and bought 3 locos!

No void-fill (ugh, sounds like something you'd buy in a sex shop) so the locos had probably bounced around a little.
Opened one of them, and it was sitting back at about 30 degrees inside it's packaging. One handrail loose, popped it back in place in a few seconds, no problem.
I Just have to say, the loco models up until this point have been amazing, but this is something else. The decals, the see-through grilles, the tiny vents, the rivets, it's just mind-boggling how good it is.
I have bought the grey ones, but they don't show the detail as well as this livery. This is just awesome.
Fair play to Paddy Murphy. This is outstanding.
Well Wear Kid!

Finally have this 80 class running, The wheels on the coaches are not suitable for my code 75 as the flanges are too big but it runs. I can only run it on the inside as the bogie frames on the motor coach rub on my 3rd rail.
