I don't know how much of Ireland is covered by wind turbines but over here you can't shift round the coasts/inshore for them. The Missus and I were down at Blyth yesterday and here she is posing in front of one. No she isn't a dwarf !

Unfortunately for these ones I have no idea as I havn't been able to locate the copyright holder(if there is one).
The ones I have traced L&LSR, DN&GR and SLNCR are from 1948 and are copyright HMRS & LNWR Socy.
Go on the HMRS site https://hmrs.org.uk/photographs.html and you can purchase digital copies. It's an easy site to follow - it must be because I managed to do it!
Some post card size photos from an old album have been received this week supposedly with the information that the negatives were no longer were in existence. Unfortunately after some digging the copyright holders have been located for the majority but there are some of the Londonderry & Lough Swilly dated 31 August 1939 where I have been unable to trace the photographer.
I won't put them on flickr but here are 4 of Letterkenny which someone may recognise.
I don't have any Tony, however I have sent you several emails, scans and flickr mail regarding the use of my photos of Omagh in your book but I have not had any replies.
regards
Ernie

Bachmann still do commissions but it is extremely unlikely that someone / shop etc will come forward with the necessary finance to do any Irish prototypes.
The most recent one I think was the Caledonian 812 0-6-0 for Rails of Sheffield and they have also been commissioned by TMC to produce an NER G5 0-4-4T.
