Love Hate Actor Tom Vaughan Lawlor has revealed Nidge really is dead. In a statement the actor said 'The last five years working on Love/Hate have been an incredible and unforgettable journey for me.' He also said “I’m hugely grateful to the show and to its fans and I am equally looking forward to the new challenges ahead for me both on screen and stage,”
I'll top that bleedin pikey for ruining me Sunday TV, I will have to watch Downton Abbey now
I would recommend a Hornby one rather than a Lima.
does this one have the same motor as the 201 or is it a better one?
i see it's in a Lima Collection box which would indicate it has one of the better late issue motors
Have to agree Fran, whereas the Mk3's looked cool, especially with double InterCity logos, the Mk 2's in the same livery looked crap, nothing to look at
Quick question
I have some stuff on Photobucket that I wan to put back on my PC, I deleted the pics when I posted them
Any ideas how to get my pics back?
Spent some time in them in the mid 70's
We travelled from Amiens St to Dundalk and back to Gormanstown
There was a perspex floor in it, as we were inspecting the track for "suspect devices" !
What we would have done had we found one, God only knows
I would say the sight of a fully laden Wickham thundering down the track at a mighy 25MPH would have put the fear of God into any terrorists
Noel
Nice find
Do you still have their box's?
Never saw them in a three pack, and would love to do so if you still have them
As a collector I would say leave them as they are, and try not to run them too often!!
This was shown to me at the MRSI Show yesterday
Missed a few hours sleep over it last night
I had covered these items previously but it looks like this is the kosher packaging for the set, not the one I had thought was correct as these items have never been catalogued correctly
I have a fantastic one I picked up a couple of years back, professionally built in the UK and really top quality
Cant seem to be able to put my hands on it at the mo?
Nearly choked on me porridge

All the new loco box's have a pic of 208 on the non labeled end
The sides of the box's have pics of the new locos + 201 which appears on all the box's
The printing has been enlarged because of the difficulty in reading the older ones
Have a great pic of an 071 in a pre production box, I will root it out over the weekend
Just looked at the stats for the Lima / Murphy Models thread in the Photos of Models forum
300,000+ hits
So I am not the only sad bastard who checks out the box and contents of RTR Irish models
Cheers troops
