  1. Why bother with cab lights men? I dont think they add anything to the whole digital experience They are too bright also imho
  2. Removed by mod
  3. Hope to have some 141's there They will be chipped but no sound
  4. You mentioned Jouef track Rory Where and when did you pick it up? I would try to use more modern Peco or Hornby track made from Nickle Silver Ease of maintenance would also suggest the Nickle Silver I would reckon the Jouef is steel and tends to need a lot more maintenance, it also rusts if used in a damp shed or loft
  5. Might be able to help if you still need 201 Shannon Noel Drop me a line if you are not sorted
  6. Ohms law What made me join the Guards

  10. Check out the O Connell Street layout at the MRSI exhibition this October Bank Holiday weekend Plenty of trams running on it. The lads running the layout ( I use the term LADS very lightly) are a fount of knowledge on the Dublin trams of the late 30's and into the 40's
  11. Anyone else looking for Mk 3's? I have a rake of MM Lima ones somewhere 4/5 standards and a Restrunk I will get pics prices etc if there is any interest

  13. Another Brass one
  14. And fair play Tom, take them for every shilling you can squeeze from them
  15. My truppence worth about the Belmond gig. I think the colour of it is terrible, there was a blank canvas available and they went for blue all over, very imaginative. The price of a jant in it is frightening, their cheapest journey is €3160, the price of a small family hatchback The company is based in London, so when the bills are paid all the loot will be UK bound. I could rant on but its getting late and me cocoa is going cold
  16. WOW, that is dear €25 posted anywhere for my ones
  17. Does it take a 21 or 8 pin chip David? I currently have some of both with stay alive fitted if anyone is interested PM me for details
  18. I recall some time back someone here mentioned they would like to see a 7mm 800 class Think these might brighten your day
  19. No Noel I think it may be winging its way back to China?
  20. Petrol station across the road caters for non china accustomed gricers like you Charlie! By the way people this is the Bray Wheelers blog, leave us alone!
  21. It all has to do with space Noel, all the available space has to be divided up among the various layouts and stallholders, indeed there is a small waiting list for people that we could not accommodate We pay a lot for the hall and need to make it wash its face before we can think about tea & coffee etc The Wexford show has an on site tea room with ample volunteers to run it, and I agree its great to sit down with a mug of tea and talk crap for a half hour or so before another few laps of the show This will be our first year running a "cafe" so we will be taking it slow and steady The layout of St Pauls has changed since we were there last so we need to see how this new layout works first, before we can decide on whether or not to continue with catering
