Camera case used for Locos on exhibition use. Holes are for A and 121s, spare space at back for something else, also purchasing a second box for my 2 rakes of coaches
I used an NCE powercab on my Lincoln Rock Island layout when they first came out and liked its style and simplicity. Have just tried the Piko/Esu smart control bluetooth and that's super nice, expensive though
Hi all. I am looking to buy a new Dcc system, it will need to be able to run 2 Soundlocos at the same time. I have tried a few since 2003 on different layouts but wondered what everyone was using, I dont have a max cost. Also does anyone use computer software like the Railmaster?
Morning all. I am just planning a new oo scale Irish Layout for exhibition use as well as at home.
Scenic section will be 13' long x 18" wide running into 2 return loop fiddle yards at back, it will be single line with loop to pass trains, with a station, Dcc and sound.
If you are in the Lancashire area ( I'm near Burnley) and would like to get involved please let me know.
Basic plan shown
Hi all, I am thinking of going into the dreaded ( in my book) world of airbrushing.
What would any of you recommend, it will be used mainly for scenery work
Morning all
When did the 4 wheel heating Van's run to and were they used with the craven coaches, can't seem to find much info on them. As they are different I fancied a Silverfox one for my new Irish layout
Thanks for the info, I'm on the mainland so struggle to do your swap meets, found 3 and another member on here has one so all good, the tippex orange was ugly in my opinion, very odd.
Funny, I put the post up and 2 came up on Ebay with different sellers, both with offers, so made offers and got both, i will just keep looking as another one plus a Dutch steam gen coach will be lovely
Wont bother me Andy not a kettle fan I'm afraid , diesel oil in my blood, comes from being a driver on BR class 31, 47 and 50s
Best job I had was the last Oxford (2300) back one spring evening 7 mk1 coaches 2x class 50s in multiple ( one was being returned in train to Old Oak so I mu them) my friend was in Slough panel box that night and they clocked me at 107mph past the box, the noise leaving Reading was nothing liked I've heard since
Yes the wider sleeper spacing does fool your eye, doesn't it, makes it much more borad gauge like, good job, your layout has given me ideas for my new small terminus , thanks again Dave
