Must say if I didn’t know you better Noel I would say that comment comes across as most sarcastic. I’m sure that was not your intention at all of course! Everyone who has ordered, paid up or not paid up will be notified when they come into stock, like we have done with all our order. Many thanks! Fran

Hi everyone, Here is a sneak peek at our liner packs as they near completion in China. They have been a long time coming and a highly challenging project to complete, but we are in the very final stages with delivery slated for early December. They look excellent with the C Rail B&I containers! Unfortunately they are sold out already, but some MAY open up due to cancellations. Keep an eye on our website and on here in the coming days for an update!

you never know AFTER our current bubble stock sells out. There was a couple of orange packs floating around the show on Saturday morning but must've been snapped up. Might be some at the Stillorgan gig on Sunday week, you never know, but we havent got any and have been sold out of them for a while now.

Whether to Weather or Preserve Pristine - Quite the Quandary!
Warbonnet replied to DJ Dangerous's topic in General Chat
Well, we do have a few customers who buy two of each model, one to stay in the box, one to run and/or weather up. Bit of an expensive way to solve the issue, but they do it and we are grateful for the business! -
Hi everyone, We’re just in the door after a long first day of the show (as sponsors we have other duties to do post the show on the Saturday as there is a dinner put on for exhibitors). The topic has gone way off subject so can we please keep it on the Murphy Models 121 only please? I think we’ve had enough on retail for one evening. We don’t want to lock the thread as it won’t do the MM 121 any favors, so please no more posts on retail. Cheers! Fran

Hi everyone, The weekend is almost here, and the show is just one more sleep away! We are on stand 45 in the 'main lecture hall' beside the Wexford MRC's large O Gauge layout, so make sure you pop down and see us. We're proud to be sponsors of the show, and hope to see lots of familiar faces, as well as some new ones, across the weekend. Make sure you drop by and say hi, and here's to a great show! Cheers! Warbonnet replied to DartStation's topic in What's On?
Hi everyone, We are delighted to be sponsors for this show, and are currently getting prepared for the big weekend! We will have the A on our stand, with the working sample on display as well as the Crossley body shells for comparison. We will also be giving a decorated sample of our Guinness Keg wagon it's public debut at the show, so make sure you stop by for a look at that! On top of that we will have bubbles, plough vans and the very last of the taras on sale, so grab them while you can! We can also take orders on As, ferts and the container liners, with the liners due the end of November, and the Ferts not far behind. We will have further progress reports on other projects over the weekend too, so make sure you drop by for a chat! We will also be able to take orders for Accurascale stock and have some on display too, including the Deltic! See you there! Cheers, Fran -
Thanks very much for running our Locos on your layout @warb The pics do not do this layout justice, it's truly stunning and an absolute masterpiece. I thought the A looked right at home! Make sure you come along to the Blackrock show this weekend, we will have the A on display, along with the Crossley body too. We should have news on digital sound for the A very soon too! Cheers, Fran
-
Thanks to the Wexford Club crew for listening to me waffle on this evening and their hospitality, as well as everyone who came to see the A! We had great craic and was nice to meet some new faces as well as familiar friends. I did so much waffling I only took one pic above, so hopefully other people in attendance snapped a few and can share! Cheers! Fran

Latest update here: https://irishrailwaymodels.com/blogs/announcements/a-first-look-at-the-a-class It’s worth signing up to our newsletter and reading our news section for the latest news, though we do share it here too. We will have a firm delivery date confirmed once all snags and testing is complete. Last thing we want to do is put a substandard loco on the market.

Hi Railer, Not sure how big the last batch of bubbles was, but we have a pic of 25187 in grey which is what we used for reference. Cheers! Fran

Looking forward to seeing you Eamonn!

Hi Seamus, Same sulzer as a BR Class 24. Horn wont be right but sounds would be similar enough. Cheers! Fran

Hi everyone, I will be down in the sunny south east next Tuesday evening (October 22nd) visiting the clubrooms of the Wexford Model Railway Club with the A Class and Fert samples, along with some other goodies from both IRM and Accurascale! The Wexford club are throwing their doors open to non members too, so if you're in the south and south east region and fancy a look at the A, drop over and say hi! Doors open from 7pm. I will be able to take pre-orders and will have some IRM stock with me too, should you fancy it... (If anyone is after anything specific please send me a private message!) The Wexford MRC clubrooms are located here: https://goo.gl/maps/64gdkEY91kXy633q8 See you there! Fran

Hi Noel, Apologies for the confusion, that was not my intention. We were in discussions with industry officials on this and happy to report back that they will contain the speakers as above. Cheers! Fran
-
We can commit to anything yet, we’re just working on it. I know it’s not a great answer but we will give the full background story when we have news on it, we will have that in a couple of weeks, promise!

Getting Crossley sound is proving a challenge, given the only working ones are in Australia. But we are working on it, bare with us on it and we will make an announcement when the time comes. I will pop up a pic of the switches tomorrow. If we do sound it will be a twin speaker set up and very loud. We just need to nail down Crossley but we will have more news soon. We’re currently testing some and will draw up a list. Cheers! Fran
-
No, as if we do go ahead with a sound project it would be multiple high grade speakers, so there would be a premium on them. Cheers! Fran
-
Cheers Leslie, we will film a haulage test with her tomorrow, but at nearly half a kilo in weight it has plenty of heft for haulage. We've also made it very handy to access switches for DC users and the chip if you want to add a DCC decoder, as Patrick shall now demonstrate. (He's available for all your hand modelling needs too!) The roof is held in place by a series of small magnets. Very handy. You can see the bank of super capacitors and the circuit board too. 20191001_163737.mp4

Cheers lads, we popped over to the South Dublin Model Railway Club this evening and got this photo courtesy of one of their members, and original A Class makers plate! Thanks to everyone who came to have a look at our A Class this evening!

My luxury upholstered backside managed to fit and the cab itself is quite roomy, 141s on the other hand are tiny, both in access and the cab itself!
