  1. "FROM LIMERICK TO FOYNES" - an 8 page spread by NICK DEACON in the May edition of RAILWAY BYLINES. On a quick glance - some very nice photographs
  2. I get the impression that both BRILL/R - BYLINES send a collection of old photographs on a subject to certain individuals to write notes & captions on the subject matter. While these people probably know an fair bit in general about UK railway subjects - it's a completely different ball game over this side of the Irish Sea.
  3. An article in BRILL MAR/2026 [ by BRUCE LAWS ] - THE IRISH NCC 2-6-4T JEEPS [ 5 pages] including request to identify locations
  4. "AN IRISH TANK QUINTET" - a 2 page colour spread in FEBRUARY 2026 edition of BACKTRACK
  5. A bit unusual, but there is a wintery photo of loco 439 with the gas cans at Inchicore in the JANUARY 2026 edition of BRILL
  6. In JANUARY 2026 edition of STEAM DAYS - an article on engines named "BRITANNIA" by Andrew Wilson, including 2 photos taken in Broadstone.
  7. Did a Dundalk 2600 set not work a Sunday relief PORTADOWN - CONNOLLY [ about 1800 ] for a while ? I can't put a date on it - maybe in late 1990's.
  8. Books imported into Ireland from outside the EU are not liable to either CUSTOMS DUTY or VAT.
  9. Very interesting notes on the various carriages that were "railcar" wired , MPMB. It is terrific reading. Your hard work is much appreciated
  10. Second part of Chris Mills article about Belfast/Larne area in August RAILWAY BYLINES
  11. Some great information in those links - many thanks
  12. The northend of WOODBROOK DART station is where this photo was taken from [ S/JUNC S/BOX - from NLI -O'DEA COLLECTION] https://catalogue.nli.ie/Record/vtls000303772
  13. WOODBROOK is located just on the Bray side of the former Shanganagh Junction
  14. 4 page article on Belfast Lough spoil trains [1968] by CHRIS MILLS [pt 1] in the JULY 2025 issue of RAILWAY BYLINES
