  2. Oh boy what a morning trying to get a good pic of 088. Done a few practice shots 083 looking good at the fuelling point, Hueston bound railcar and the Morning service on the south tipp line, but really struggled with the pics, so tried the other fav spots The cutting in Ferrybank no good, tried the station platform but found it closed and nobody about. When t over the border to my usual spot, a quick text to warn the KK boys of her movements and danna she arrived. 083 Dub railcar Tipp railcar 088 @ Plunkett 088 @ Newrath
  3. I ve pics of her in Waterford this morning, she was a nightmare to get a pic of but I got a nice close up of her.
  4. Light weights;). i ll put up a better one in the morning.
  5. Finally finished the other side of the Autoballaster now to find something suitable to take it out of the depot Next up 2 x timber and 1 x tara
  6. Now that is a thought, would look quite good i'd say.
  7. The last pic of 088 that i have in Waterford must be ten years ago & looked what popped up to say hello today:D Looking REAL good in the new livery especially with the med weather we re having
  8. Caught ya, He really left rip heading through the old Kilmacow station,
  9. Nice collection Kirley, wheres the Mak though:(?
  10. Wasn t 171 & 461 in Michael Collins? Angelas Ashes 461 in Pearse, God forbid, 171 in the country girls 184 in the Irish RM 461 in the rebel heart & the best for last The Corrs in Diner 88, block the sky gazer out and look at the ladies. OOh the Esb ad from the ghosts of xmas past!!!!
  11. 220 plus unidentified 071 behind the mk 3 will admit i nearly said something bold about the mk3 but pulled back from the brink!!! ended up taking pics of plastic stuff instead:(( At least 074 was there too console me:x
  12. Love it, well done sir the bell liner and the wagons really set it, love the no coaches past this point sign too. Keep the pics coming:tumbsup:
  13. Three done at last, have to take a little break before attempting the others. Tom, i'm not sure on the autoballasters as the bachmann ones are not too hand many thanks for the nice comments, your step by step came in really handy during the repaint that tamiya masking tape is really good stuff, i only had 2 paint leaks during the 3 repaints!!!
  14. A little rest from the no smoking signs on the mk3's, Lovely yellow Autoballaster all the way from Co Laois Found a great pic of one on The Wanderer smug bug account, came in very handy for locating were all the decals go. After a lot of cursing etc i ended up with this:D
  15. Love to see these girls back down in these parts
  16. It would be rude not to put up pics of 071 before her livery change, good news i ve just rescued all my pics of my old memory card. Would be a nice project for the dirty gents!!!
  17. On the way back from Portlaoise(I wonder why i was up there:)), I spent a bit of time trying to find the long closed Portlaoise line from Ballyragget south to Kilkenny. To be honest even trying to find the alignment was hard in places but the odd telegraph pole gave the alignment away. http://www.flickr.com/photos/73238117@N02/sets/72157634466808945/
  18. Here you go http://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/images/survey_specific/fullsize/22113004_1.jpg
  19. Well thats one done, i cheated with the white lining and used decals. I added steps on one end and i filled in the handrail space. Only another 2 to go and then to start the next batch!!!
  20. Typical 071 has only settled in!!! Wouldn t be the hardest job in the world, i'm sure weshty would do a replacement yellow area decal to cover up the area after. Hmm 077 & 078 in grey plus the 2 orange already ordered looks like the 071's will out number the baby fleet.
  21. Fran, rm web is good for that, bought a complete 37 for £40 including postage, got £20 for the body, sold the detail bits and box for just under a tenner;). (Im a right auld Delboy when i want to be)
  22. On one of the old irish sites a member used a bachmann cl 24/25 chassis on a B201 class by shortening the metal chassis, also a few British modellers have used modified bachmann cl 37 chassis for their cl 89 electric kits, i'm sure model rail covered it as well. Its what i'm planning for my a class:)
  23. Have an sd 45 to hand, 141 chassis is too long as far as i know.
  24. Richie, I was thinking of using an athearn sd 45 body cut n shut job, the sd 45 cab and small bonnet chopped off plus approx 2.5 cm off the main bonnet. The 121 cab would be a total scratchbuild and be placed in the 2.5cm were the main bonnet was. There's a lot off suttle angles etc on the 121 which i only noticed when looking at the drawings v photos. The chassis i feel would definetly be a scratchbuild or at a push a frateschi chassis.
