Evening all, 206 was released to traffic on Monday 23rd February in its brand new striking "Enterprise" livery when it went L.E. from Inchicore to Kildare to take over the 1130 Waterford - Ballina Ety. Timber. It caught everybody out as it was rumoured to be allocated to the 0935 IWT Liner from North Wall but 218 worked this instead. On Wednesday 25th, it returned from the West of Ireland with the 1140 Ballina - North Wall IWT Liner and I photographed it at Portarlington and Killenard. Evening all, There was only one thing to photograph today and that was the MKIV Trial Train from Mallow to Tralee as Iarnrod Eireann gauge tested the route for the MKIV fleet. The purpose of the trial was to clear the route for Private Charters and G.A.A. Specials.
