  1. I don't recognise it as mine and it isn't on my online images of 4004. Plus it looks like that was taken in Inchicore and I don't put Inchicore pictures online. Following I.E. guidelines.
  2. Rolling Stock will not be "rebranded" unless it is due a repaint. This is a "low cost" rebranding people!

  9. It wasn't a official shoot. Right time right place photo, which looks good in a industrial landscape. IE asked me could they acquire the use of the photo. I didn't know it was going to appear on billboards around the country! I nearly crashed the car driving into the shopping centre in Portlaosie when I saw it out of the corner of my eye.

  15. Evening folks, A rather busy weekend just gone in the Dublin area. On Saturday 112 hauled failed 8208 from Belfast York Road to Connolly for repairs in Inchicore. 075 brought the failed loco from Connolly to Inchicore. The convoy was pictured at Balbriggan. After Balbriggan it was over to the Maynooth Line to photo 461 on the 2nd Santa Special of the day. After waiting with Finnyus at Pike Bridge to nearly 1500hrs with no sign of the special I returned to the car to collect the mobile phone and discovered via text that the locomotive had been declared a failure in Pearse and 083 was going to haul the train to Maynooth. The Saturday special was photographed at Pike Bridge and Collinstown. On Sunday I visited Malahide to photograph 207 crossing the causeway with the 1300 Dublin Connolly - Belfast Central and then it was off to Leixlip Louisa Bridge for 076 on the 1355 Pearse - Maynooth RPSI Santa Special. The return special was photographed at Collinstown. All the photos from the weekend are now online at: http://smu.gs/SAiwhV Enjoy, The Wanderer.
  16. On Wednesday 12th December the 1840 Heuston - Portlaoise was worked by 229 + 7MKIV set 4001 after it was failed before departure of the 1800 to Cork. http://smu.gs/SdxI4j The Wanderer.
  17. It looks like there was a shortage of CPW's. The CPW rake was normally 12 wagons. In this video there is only 10 wagons so it looks like the two LP's were added to bring it up to 12 wagons.
  18. I never did get around to finding out what the reason behind them was.
