  1. It takes me a full hour to 'tidy up' the layout after the kids have decked it out in Thomas and pals (though from the sound of it, your lad is a bit older?)
  2. He sounds bad, but he's a really useful engine
  3. And Thomas helps out with clearance testing the new mainline section
  4. LOL ! The joy of 'trainsets' I try to keep my attic locked
  5. Here's a quick shot of the new mainline junction (just vacuumed) And some 'teaser trailers' for the viaduct....
  6. Looking very very good indeed!! We're spoiled for Irish layouts :)
  7. It is I think some of the rake are a bit 'wonky' Only fresh out of storage, they need their wheels replaced to work on the code 75 track (and of course the photos are being cruel to the fact I 've yet to properly glue down the platforms!)
  8. Can only imagine 'how' it was dismantled and removed
  9. While I'm still working on mainline laying, here are a few shots of 112 on the 'Enterprise' complete with DT and yes... photos really do highlight just how much work is still to be done
  10. If the money is there........ <boggles>
  11. Changed hands? So it was sold by Dublin Tourism?
  12. I thought they were left money? Etc?
  13. Absolutely lovely. The pipe detail really adds to it!
  14. Thanks Kev
  15. Love the cable trunking - Is it plasticard? Lovely feel to this - more pics please :)
  16. Personally, having done this section, I won't be returning to the ballast, brush, wet, drip pva method at all... (other than to touch up areas I've not done yet)
  17. (Don't mind the visible cables, they will disappear (like the white card) under a liberal spray of track grime and oil stains )
  18. Close up of the point
  19. Couple of updated shots A peco long point, looking well, and the final bit of mainline that joins it.
  20. Mainline now stretches (single line for now!) from the throat to the DMU junction, and will shortly (tomorrow) get around the bend and over the lifting section... The new ballasting method is working very well with the points.
  21. Just a stunning set of shots
  22. A warm welcome Kev - the shots look stunning - especially love the atmosphere of the night shots!
