  4. I remember seeing a photo a while ago of a soccer player and a hurler The soccer player probably dived and was on the ground and was doing the normal screaming and holding his ankle The Hurler was covered in blood and appeared to be trying to persuade the physio/doctor to let him play on

  8. At last I've finally weathered no 192,171,171 and 229 with an airbrush I had weathered these engines earlier in the year with just weathering powders but they rubbed off when ever I picked them up Here's the result I'm quite happy with the result I can't wait to give then a run Tell me what you think
  9. As most of you probably know my current layout is very close to being awful It is too basic, the track is lined up horribly and there's a serious lack of scenery Now I have a fresh start and this time I'm going to make sure this one is half decent Here are the plans Apologies for the roughness it was originally something to pass the time (Also I've changed it around a bit in the rest of the plans) The picture is colour coded so Red = Where I will put a board and add on posters with scenery Blue = (If It's visible) Where the base board ends or has a gap in it Black lines = Track Grey = Platform The layout will be 11ft x 7ft Keep in mind that these plans are very rough and not perfect Tell me what you think and where it can be improved
  10. The layout is looking great Did you modify the locos as I thought that the 141 and 121 chassis were set at different speeds Thanks

  14. Hi Guys After a long battle with a new printer:confused: I finally got around to making the free containers that FrankS pointed out They are easy enough to make ,but the use of thick paper/card and balsa wood for strengthening really makes a difference Here's the link to the pictures http://s1096.photobucket.com/albums/g329/brianwalshmk3/?action=view&current=d412848a.jpg#!oZZ1QQcurrentZZhttp%3A%2F%2Fs1096.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fg329%2Fbrianwalshmk3%2F%
  15. no, I'm not:p It's a pity they didn't ask for an essay ,I could have gone on for pages and pages about the removal of locomotive hauled stock, though I suppose if I won I couldn't be got out of inchicore, even though there's little enough left now:((
