  4. Just in case anybody gets confused, IPA means this.. ..not this..
  5. An equivalent device to the Trix brush can be made from two Peco cleaners and a piece of wood - as outlined above.
  6. The Peco wheel cleaner is still a good and cheap device. Add a couple of croc clips and you're away. Or, even buy two and mount the brushes at a suitable spacing and drop them on the track - there is a contact strip on the back that will collect power from the rails directly. For non-driven wheels, a brass brush in a cordless multi-tool is a good way.
  7. Good stuff. Handy to have it all in one place..
  8. The time will come...

  16. No problem. He knows what he's doing on rail-related matters - and he can search effectively in Dutch, which may turn up stuff not readily available to us..
  17. My agent has reported and is undertaking further investigations..
  18. Excellent!! Be worth having a grey one just for that detail....
  19. My Dutch Correspondent only appears on my other Forum every week or so, but he does know his stuff. We'll see what he comes up with.

  21. Well spotted. I will be quizzing my Dutch correspondent...
  22. H0 would be closer at 1/87, and the track is near-enough right then, for 1,435 mm - but 1,600 mm track represented by 16.5 mm track is near-enough 1/100, which is virtually 3 mm/ft - not that it matters - I'm happy with decent-sized models that don't cost the Earth on track that's readily available and near-enough for me...
  23. Sad. Maybe if he wore a hi-vis vest...?
