A container fire in the port this evening by the fishery centre.. both the local Dublin Fire Brigade Dennis RS which fends off the road and the Ports Fire & Rescue Service Scania appliances attending the scene along the ports Ford F250 fire piquet jeep.. The new east pier is now home to the world Famous Saint James Gate Guiness brewery so the area will be host to plenty of visitors for a creamy pint of the black stuff and tourists can easily access it via the new Docklands station or by ferry in the harbour ⛴ or even open top tour buses More detail to add over time..

  8. The plan is for the ports sidings to see them as regular visitors

  11. Extended the track and platform of the Docklands station today. The station can now accommodate 22000 3 Car DMUs.
  12. No your eyes dont deceive you, the Harbour Police were busy out clamping.. the merc driver should of checked their parking ticket
  13. The docklands town scene is taking shape.. between Harbour House office block and the customs house is nestled my scratch built/kit bashed Docklands below ground station entrance & passenger platform lift.. More to follow on the new station and platform works..

  15. The evening liner train pulled by 071 exits the Port of Fingal on route to the west of Ireland. Vehicular traffic halts at the ports level crossing awaiting for it to pass..
  16. They are all kits I bought and built generally.. Most of buildings are faller, kibri, bachmann and superquick with some older Hornby town & country kits from the 1990s. I have a fondness for town planning and love planning accurate scenes with plenty of details to bring them life..

Ths lockdown has allowed me to reset up in the attic.. the IE 22000 DMU that arrived under the Christmas tree got its first run out this evening.. its a very smooth runner The layout is all intact after protracted storage and just in need of abit of TLC and the scenery & buildings reinstalled 20200422_181318_001.mp4

  21. Really enjoyed today.. great seeing Paddy Murphy and 121s.. Picked up some Tara's too from Wrenn Eire great looking wagons Very envious of the 22000 will have to speak ECB to see if they will extend out a loan for purchasing one of these for Fingal County

  25. It was Irish Freight models that i couldn't find they use to sell finished versions of the SSM models I think Are they gone now do you know?
