  1. Something I should has asked before ordering but any of you guys know if the park royals will gauge out to 21mm?
  2. HI guys I am thinking outside of the box here. I wonder if a deal could be done so that John produces a run of say 20 wagons of each type and IRM could then do the importing and distribution bit, I wonder if that could bring the postage cost down to make it viable for a lot more of us to encourage this sort of joint working, what do you all think could it work? Colin
  3. The above station has always appealed and given I had the space needed would make a great model.
  4. I have wanted to model Derry/Londonderry for well over 20 odd years, but I have never had the space to do it justice. Also not living in the area had made it difficult to not do a survey and to get a feel for the site. The hardest bit for me is to try and work out the various heights from water level up to the trackbed and then on up to the road level, you can only get so much detail from maps. Colin
  5. Great Stuff, thanks for doing this
  6. That is why they have turned to TT:1:120 scale as no one else is doing anything yet, but there isn't enough out there to make me switch yet. I should say I already model OOn3 so I would hope that not before to long the 08/09 Diesel 0-6-0 will be out. That should give some some food of kit bashing.
  7. Hi guys a just a short film on tic tok I hope it works https://www.facebook.com/dave.v.munday/videos/6276147315742236/?idorvanity=418992338717208
  8. Hi Jon this could not have happen at a better time for me really since if things work out how I hope to be moving and I can see myself having a gauge 1 garden layout with more that a hint of Irish flavour to it
  9. I think we are just about to find out
  10. Another photo for you
  11. Hi Guys I think I am having one of those days when the computer does not like me I can't for the life of me find a photo or even better still an OO scale Guinness van wagon. I am sure someone made them ages ago but do you think I can find them? Colin
  12. Here is a link that might help about halfway down https://www.amberleynarrowgauge.co.uk/our-locos.htm
  13. Hi do you have a link for the CRR requirements thanks Colin
  14. Yes you are right it will be up to the owner what happen to it and I live in hope that one day someone will be in the right place at the right time to see that happen.
  15. Thanks Leslie when I have some spare cash I will contact you, I have a couple of your containers which I will be using on my 3ft gauge Donegal based model.
  16. Absolutely excellent work guys you are doing a fantastic job.
  17. rats missed that one, hope someone on here got it.
  18. Don't you just love this thanks Keith you made my evening, that's the sort of thing I say and people are so quick to try to correct me, but I know what I am saying thank once again love it Also make sure that you are not looking at the grey primer etcher they do as that is a bit more expensive that normal primer? Colin
  19. Just in case anyone is on facebook I have put out some feelers as to the location of any remaining 5ft 3ins gauge steam locos around the world.
  20. Yes I wasn't sure what to suggest I am thinking more in line of what would be more useful for the Connemara project in the long term looking in the great book it has either a 4-4-0 or an 0-6-0 tender locos. If however you think that it should be build to run on the main line then something a bit different is required such as an updated version of 850 2-6-2T. But if you want character they why not go for a GSWR class 47 0-4-4T
  21. I can't help but think it might be a good long term bet to think about building a brand new steam loco, but which one would have the most appeal? You don't want one that will become to small and you don't one which is too big either any suggest guys?
  22. Hi JHB I am sure that most of the 3ft gauge horseboxes where grey, the only ones I am not certain of are those on the Cavan and Leitrim Railway being either Green, Maroon or Grey depending on the year in question. Colin
  23. Sounds great
