I picked this up at a boot sale a few years ago and I might finally have a go at it over the winter.

I'm not sure how old it is, but it does have a sticker on for a fiver, however, that could have been applied at any point this side of 1971.

It is simply printed card, no die-cutting - hence the handy scalpel, with a Swann Morton No 10 blade - they omitted to include any plasters.

There are eight and a half sheets, with the buildings printed on all walls, so they can be arranged in multiple forms, subject to small amounts of roof surgery, as applicable.

The outside edges won't be that hard, but all those window apertures is not something to look forward to.

The windows are also printed-on-card, rather than actually transparent sheets, but pictures of the assembled items look generally OK.

I'm not short of blades, Blud.

It strikes me that, it not being die-cut from the front, I might be able to avoid the 'exposed corner' issue that modern Metcalfe kits have?
