heirflick Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 seen loads of english loco cold starts... [video=youtube;-JpQivta6MQ] anyone a clip of an irish loco doing the same?
Sulzer201 Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Great clips and sounds heirflick - don't know if your man's doc would be recommending standing there in that plume of black haze though.
jhb171achill Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Time it right and you can get cold start ups to record at Downpatrick for a G, A or 141...
enniscorthyman Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Mind you the start up of 088 on the 071 sound chip does sound like its not going to start. The 071s in particular suffer from poor cold starting mainly because of the small car like starting motor attached to the engine.
