jhb171achill Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 3-car NIR railcar on the Enterprise this morning, zebra on it yesterday and the day before….. Nothing new there. But here in Malahide, the daily sounds of the Tara 071s has fallen silent, so one notices that sound when it appears. And it did - the night before last - at 01:40. What was an 071 doing out and about on the GNR at that hour? Hauling some sort of yellow thing about? Quote

hurricanemk1c Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 There's a 3 C3K diagram booked Thursday - Saturday, 0933ish Belfast - Dublin and 1221 return. Frequently mistaken for covering a DD set 2 Quote
jhb171achill Posted July 25, 2023 Author Posted July 25, 2023 Saw an NIR yoke on it yesterday - plus, today, blue Belmond 216! I was unaware that loco could do the "Enterprise" - never saw it on it before, though one or other of the zebra / raccoon / badgers has been on it lately. 1 Quote
airfixfan Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 Had 216 on the Enterprise the Saturday of the RPSI Rosslare Diesel Railtour Quote

JHB-216 has the required equipment fitted since it’s Belmond days to operate cross border and hence its use on Enterprise services P.S-Congrats to yourself and Barry on another excellent publication-Rails through Wexford-received yesterday and enjoying the read so far. 1 Quote

Gabhal Luimnigh Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 You might lose some of the character of the picture cropping it, I just tried it there, I don't envy you Jonathan. 1 Quote

I'm just thinking that in that form, it's fine for a landscape publication, but this one will be same sort of format as the Wexford & Tipperary ones......... 2 Quote
