Well I stand corrected... I see it is now possible to buy advance tickets and book seats for enterprise services **online** from Translink! Progress 🙂

• Revised Enterprise Rail Timetables will operate between Belfast Grand Central Station and Drogheda

• Bus Substitution services will operate between Drogheda and Dublin Connolly

0650 Connolly / Belfast terminated at Dundalk, passengers will be accommodated on the 0740 when the line reopens. 0700 Belfast / Connolly departed Dundalk an hour late. 

I guess that means a 29k on the 0950 and a C3K on the 1000.

Due to the continued flooding on the line between Belfast & Dublin a reduced timetable will operate tomorrow 29 January 2026. 

 

Enterprise Services will operate as follows: 

 

Departing Belfast-

07:00 , 09:00, 11:00, 13:00, 15:00, 17:00, 19:00, 21:00

 

Bus substitutions will operate from Belfast to Newry & from Portadown to Newry. Passengers will then board the train in Newry for onward travel to Dublin.

 

Please note there will be an additional service at 06:35 from Newry to Dublin. 

 

Departing Dublin- 

05:50 , 07:40, 09:50, 11:50, 13:50, 15:50, 17:50, 20:50

 

Passengers will travel by rail to Newry. Then Bus substitutions will operate from Newry to Belfast & from Newry to Portadown.

The cross border line is then scheduled to reopen at 1700. This will be a controlled reopening with some services supported by bus substitution.

 

The ONLY trains to operate over the affected line today will be:

 

17:50 Dublin to Belfast Grand Central Enterprise Service 

 

18:00 Belfast Grand Central to Dublin Enterprise Service 

 

18:00 Portadown to Newry NI Railways Service 

 

18:28 Newry to Belfast Grand Central NI Railways Service 

 

20:50 Dublin to Belfast Grand Central Enterprise Service 

 

21:00 Belfast Grand Central to Dublin Enterprise Service

 

23:00 Belfast Grand Central to Newry NI Railways Service 

 

00:06 Newry to Portadown NI Railways Service 

 

Additional Information - 

 

Please note the 19:00 Belfast Grand Central to Dublin will operate as a Bus substitution Service from Belfast to Dublin. 

 

Full Cross Border 2 hourly timetable (with Drogheda-Dublin engineering closure) will resume Saturday 31 January.
