Sea Breezer Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Happy with my first brass kit build. The lovely SSM Wickham Inspection Car. Few pics of the build.. 12 2 Quote
Mol_PMB Posted January 16 Posted January 16 (edited) Super! I am tempted by one of these myself, so it's good to see one nicely built and painted. Is it motorised? If not, do you think it could be? Edited January 16 by Mol_PMB typo 1 Quote

The instructions do mention that it is possible to motorise using a Black Beetle Motor Bogie, but they seem to be difficult to source. 3 Quote
Weshty Posted January 16 Posted January 16 (edited) Oh my sweet giddy aunt. That really looks fantastic. Well done sir, well done! I was marvelling at your interior work, and had forgotten that when I designed the kit that it included all this detail. @Mol_PMB Yes, the kit is designed to be able to take a 35mm wheelbase Black Beetle. I bought one for test fitting just to make sure. Some googling shows that you could use a Tenshodo equivalent motor bogie. http://motorbogies.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=304 Edited January 16 by Weshty Tenshodo alternative 4 Quote

David Holman Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Welcome to the singed fingers club! Really nice work, especially with it being so small and fiddly. Onwards and upwards! 2 Quote
