Great pic, those engines would have been great at Downpatrick. I would be very interested to get a solid date as to when they last operated, I think Mallow No. 3 last ran in 1963.
airfixfan Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Harvey on LPHC last used about 1959 Courtalds engines at Carrick in use till about 1968 Have done an article on the Courtaulds line as well. Plus I see them in use as a young child 2! 1 1
