Ballinhassig Railway Station for sale

I came across this today, the former Ballinhassig railway station is for sale, the platforms and base of the signal box are still there along with the station masters house.

Probobly selling due to The oncoming greenway project (buyers beware if that would be against you!) 

unfortunatly I don’t have 700’000. Otherwise this would litterally be my dream house (only behind Ballymartle station)

Well a good opportunity for the new any potential owner to open a coffee shop for the Greenway

Interesting, I am not familiar with that greenway project, what is the proposed start and end point?

Start point is cork and end point is kinsale / Clonakilty (the present plan is to diverge just west of Ballinhassig railway station) 

 

If the council were serious, they would buy it

some size parcel of land too. I'd fill this with oaks.
