It's off the workbench, runs well and is as far as I want to go with it. Bit of weathering, make cab roof sit better and some wires and tube for the sander operating mech, do we know Double M models?

Nice little loco and a favourite of mine, narrow gauge and runs on 16.5 mm track.

Very nice! It certainly captures the style of the prototype and looks well. 
Do you plan any other Padarn rolling stock?

Hmm, maybe not! I remember looking at Fire Queen many years ago and thinking very strange looking loco. Two thoughts spring to mind, with that long rigid wheelbase how did it go around curves and how often did the side rods get bent?

Excellent work, I have a 3d printed version of the transporter wagons available if you're interested (since been updated with built in NEM pockets)

I had the chance to examine the surviving wagon, carriage and the magnificent Fire Queen back in May and its reignited my interest in this most interesting of railways

Another odd thing is that there is no main frame. The boiler is the main structural component. So when it’s in steam the wheelbase is longer than when it’s cold. I can only assume there was a lot of slack in the rod ends, or maybe they were adjusted daily.
