Wexford70 Posted Thursday at 13:19 Posted Thursday at 13:19 (edited) Good afternoon, Can I ask for assistance in identifying this loco? Might it be a GSR Class D14 / GS&WR Class 60 4-4-0? Edited Thursday at 13:29 by Wexford70

Photo likely to be pre-1934 .No 94 was a 60 Class/ D14 rebuilt with superheated boiler and belpair firebox 1934 transforming its appearance. https://transportsofdelight.smugmug.com/RAILWAYS/IRISH-RAILWAYS/CORAS-IOMPAIR-EIREANN-STEAM/i-W3PLw8P/A Main spotting difference between 60 Class -D14 & 52 Class D17 viewed head on was that 52 Class were fitted with a raised firebox while 60 Class had flush boiler and smokebox. Interestingly at least one 52 Class retained double smokebox doors in CIE days. https://transportsofdelight.smugmug.com/RAILWAYS/IRISH-RAILWAYS/CORAS-IOMPAIR-EIREANN-STEAM/i-zC9Ff7f/A 2
