Dunluce Castle Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Thanks guys I enjoyed my self today, it was very busy from the start with the exhibition spread between 2 halls, and a good number of exhibits. Thanks Quote
Kirley Posted December 14, 2013 Author Posted December 14, 2013 Nelson's layout built in 2 months with the help of his Father was the one that gave me the most pleasure. Here he is in full command of operations. The future of railway modelling is in good hands. Quote
Dunluce Castle Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 It was a pleasure to meet you Kirley, glad you enjoyed it. The majority of the layout was built in 5 weeks, but you are correct in saying that it was 2 months before it was completely finished. But as you were saying, "no layout is ever finished" and we do have an extension ready for next year. It was built back in May and dad was in charge of the whole building of the layout, while I was in charge of the ballasting A video of it running shall be posted tomorrow, if not, then next week at the latest, Many thanks Nelson Quote
Dunluce Castle Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 A bit late, but better late than never. The exhibition gave us a chance to film our layout in action. So here's the results, hope you enjoy it. Quote
