Killucan2 Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Look on flee bay, mk3 go for a good price you could look for short Hornbys you might get for @7-10 euro, tara mines kits well that's another story, hard to find! Quote
Seanw12 Posted February 2, 2014 Author Posted February 2, 2014 Checked on flee bay there is none and I want the long ones thanks anyway Quote
Seanw12 Posted February 2, 2014 Author Posted February 2, 2014 Do you know does mir models have email Quote
Warbonnet Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Do you know does mir models have email MIR no longer produce kits. There are hundreds of Mark IIIs on eBay. Literally. Quote
Riversuir226 Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 For taras either scratchbuild or irish freight models are the only way. The mir taras are a nightmare to find and usually are pretty expensive. Mk3 coaches can be got on various facebook pages, the Virgin and gner ones are cheapest, the last set of 5 I got where around €50 including postage, decalwise ssm are very good and reasonable cost wise. UP6936 Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Checked on flee bay there is none and I want the long ones thanks anyway A quick eBay search for "OO mk3" produced at least 50 results, multiple makes and liveries. Pretty much any normal full length one would do Quote
Riversuir226 Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 The lima ones are easier to repaint but lack detailed bogies, the hornby ones are pretty good but the repainting will take quite a while as all the windows need to be masked off. Shinkansen done a really good repaint on his rake, check out his workbench. Quote
