How to weather an 071 in this month's BRM

Just got my hands on the July edition of British Railway Modelling and there's a nice 'how to' feature on weathering a couple of 071s by Nigel Burkin. Nice step by step feature on how to have a go yourself. Great inspiration for anyone wanting to take the plunge themselves.

You could always try the IE approach; and never, EVER wash them!

He's done some nice BR diesel modelling which I've enjoyed in the past Rich, his website is good. He likes the yank stuff too, albeit in n scale.

I know what you mean but imagine the layout you could squeeze under your bed if it was N scale
